Bunnell

Bunnell is the County Seat and was first incorporated in 1913 but has come a long way from its humble beginnings. From 2005 to 2007 Bunnell annexed more than 92,000 acres of land, increasing its size from 4 square miles to approximately 141 square miles and making Bunnell one of the largest cities in Florida. This quaint city holds many of the historic treasures of Flagler County within its city limits.

Bunnell will turn 100 in 2013. A series of events are planned throughout the year, so mark your calendar!

January 12, 2013

Centennial Tour & Scavenger Hunt - 2 pm - Kick off the Centennial Year with this tour of historic Bunnell. Join us in this adventure around our heritage and discover details of our past.

April 20, 2013

Beautification Centennial Celebration - 9 am - See Bunnell flourish with fresh new plants, a Fire Hydrant decoration contest, and a cleanup blast, topped by a community cookout in front of our historic City Hall.

July 8, 2013

Time Capsule Ceremony -  5 pm - Join us as we celebrate the birth of the City of Bunnell with a time capsule ceremony where its guardians will be vested and the capsule sealed for the next 50 years!

City of Bunnell Birthday Centennial Celebration - 7 pm - Attend the historical reenactment of the first City Council meeting. Jump in the past and experience the beginning of our beloved City.

November 8, 2013

Centennial Gala - 7 pm - Join us in an evening of wonderful food, inspiring honorees, a unique exhibition and musical entertainment. A celebration you will never forget.

November 9, 2013 

Festival of the Century - 1 pm - See the best of Bunnell in every way imaginable. From educational and interactive pavilions to vendors showcasing their goods, plus food, wine, beer, entertainment and more!

Centennial Parade - 4 pm - Don't miss the Centennial Float, and all the displays from our communities, with music from every decade.

Grand Finale - 7:30 pm - Don't miss this unique event. 30 minutes of vibrancy planned to illuminate us all!
